Hi there! I am so glad you stopped by! Just a little introduction about Cultivate Branding and Design and yours truly! My name is Allison Muirhead and I have been in the photography business for over 20 years, (Wow! hard to believe I just said that out loud.) I started as a young teacher, newly married that wanted to make a little extra money on the side. Let me say this up front. If mistakes could be made in starting a business I MADE THEM! I had zero idea about what I was doing but, I had work ethic, a supportive family and talent behind the camera so I went for it!
Fast forward twenty years... I have learned soooo much, I have learned to value of a good brand, how to establish that brand, and how to stay in front of my customers consistently. I have spent 20 years devouring books on design, the art of color, pattern, styling, typography and elements and how they all work together, how to present a concise, cohesive brand that leaves the public wanting to know more. I have learned the value of a good CRM system, the importance of staying on top of accounts receivable and accounts payable, and most of all the value of customer service and being true to yourself.
Enter Cultivate Branding and Design! At the end of 2019, beginning of 2020 I started to see a shift in the way people were doing business, even before Covid 19 and the pandemic. When people had a question, they went to social media, they went to their friends and peers to ask how, who or what. I am a true believer in the statement that people buy from people, especially in todays digital age where everyone is on their phone and research on any subject is one "hey siri" away. I help businesses and individuals stand out and "become" the brand. I provide a plethora of services to help you do just that: logos (new or re-do), new design elements (think elements, colors, typography), a re-vamp of the website, SEO training to get your website on the top of the goggle search engines (hello- the "hey siri" part), brand auditing, personal branding photoshoots, product photos, business coaching, public relations, social media training, and brand management.
